Getting Started with QuickRewards
QuickRewards is going to be one of your "busiest" sites. That is, I recommend logging on every day, as there are ways to make money every day there. If you can't login every day, at least login every other day, or every 3 days, because some of the offers will expire after 3 days.
I have to say that QuickRewards is my FAVORITE of all the sites. The reason for this is, if you request a cashout via Paypal, you are going to get it either that very same day, often within a few hours, or some reasonable time on the day after. The webmaster is Dmitri, and he is the QUICKEST one out there. I have been paid by Paypal over 100 times from this site. You can also get $5 Ebay or Amazon Gift Certificates sent to your email at no extra cost! Dmitri will also answer any question in email very quickly - you can reach him at "webmaster at freedvdforyou.com". Just about every day, there are new offers, so you are going to make a steady income with this site. I recommend cashing out when you get up to at least $1.00. You could do it sooner, but then you'd be making Dmitri work too hard. Remember, you want to cash out to a Personal Paypal account so that you don't get taxed 2.9% and $0.30.
There are 6 ways to make money with QuickRewards:
- Clicks/Search - clicking on websites every day
- Paid Emails - every day one or two offers you can click on
- Basic Signups - do these as they come in, every week or so
- Paid to Signup - bigger paying offers that you can do only once a year
- Trivia - a new question each day
- Paid to Shop - if you do shopping on the Internet, QuickRewards is one of the best places to get cashback
I recommend using Mozilla Firefox with QuickRewards, and all the other sites as well. That way, you can click your middle mouse button to open each Clicks/Search in a new tab. Some of the Clicks/Search are going to make you wait 15 seconds to credit you; others will credit you instantly. Use the tab feature of Mozilla to go through them one by one, to keep your Windows organized.
There are also some Clicks/Search hidden in the different categories on the right hand side of the page: Under "Contests", you can click the Yahoo HotJobs APPRENTICE contest for 5 RefPoints. Under "Free Stuff", you can click on Yahoo HotJobs - Free Job Search for 5 RefPoints. And under "GROCERY STORE COUPONS", you can click on the single link there for 2 RefPoints.
This is not that much money, but it is only the first way to make money on QuickRewards, and you can do it every day; it adds up!
2. Paid Emails. On the top, in the blue text links, click on [Paid Mail]. A new window will open up showing entries for each day of the current month. Click on the most current date. Usually there will be 2 offers. Sometimes an offer will pay $0.02 just for clicking the website and visiting it. Easy fast cash! More often than not, there will be a site that pays $0.25 or $0.35 for some extra work. Click that link, and you will have to fill out a small form with your name, address, phone number, and so forth.
Here again, Mozilla Firefox comes in very handy. Once you have filled out one form, Mozilla will remember what you typed in, and the next time you come to a similar form, it will be really easy to fill out. Here's what you will do. Click inside the first form element (usually First Name). Push your down arrow on your keyboard two times. You will see a dropdown list of what you put in that form before. Just hit Tab to select the first item in that list. It fills that form element out for you, and then you go to the next form element (say, Last Name). Repeat this process again and again!
Now here's the cool part - you don't have to give real information if you don't want to! As time goes by, however, I notice the forms get pickier and pickier. You will have to give it your quickrewards email address for the offer to credit properly. But for all the other form elements, you can kind of fudge them. The phone number seems to want the area code and the first 3 digits to match up to your zipcode. But you can type in anything for the last 4 digits. For the address, many forms will want a real address that checks out with USPS.COM (the United States Post Office website). You can either use your own, or put in somebody else's if you are worried about receiving junk mail. Do what you feel is necessary.
Also, many of these forms will want you to click on "Yes" for a specific offer. Try and do a different one each time you do a different offer; that is, don't click "Yes" on ClickIQ on two separate offers. If you do that, you might not get paid for one of those offers. Most of the time, you don't have to click "No" for each offer you don't want; you can just click "Yes" once for the one offer you must click.
You will want to check these every day if you can, but do it at least every 3 days, because after 3 days, the offers usually expire.
3. Basic Signups. When you first sign up for QuickRewards, there are a lot of basic signups you can do to get your balance up to $5.00. Click the big black text "New Offers" to see the latest ones. For example, currently you can click on Glade FREE Coupons to make $0.15. In this case, I recommend right clicking the offer, and selecting "Open Link in New Window". Then fill out the form, usually you will have to do one or two pages, but sometimes it's 3 or more.
Then come back to the QuickRewards window, hit REFRESH on your browser, and you will see that now for that offer there is a link that says "Confirm Signup". Click on that link. A new window will Pop Up, giving you instructions on how to complete that offer. IMPORTANT! You must follow those directions or you will not get credited for that offer! In most cases, you will need to cut and paste using your mouse whatever final message you get from completing said offer into that Confirm Signup Window. Other times you will just type in "I REGISTERED". Be sure to finish the offer first, before finishing the Confirm Signup Window.
Besides the New Offers, I recommend you to go through each of the following entries on the right hand "Earn Cash" column, doing all of the offers you can: Contests, Financial Services, Free Catalogs, Free Magazine Subscriptions, Free Stuff, Newsletters, Reward Sites, and Survey Sites. If you go through enough of them, you should be able to build up to about $5.00. This is a nice start indeed! It will take about a day (or less) for Dmitri to credit you.
4. Paid to Signup. If you click on the "Huge $ Offers" entry under "Easy Cash", and then click the single link there, you will see what are known as MetaReward signups. These involve a little more work, and usually always require a debit / credit card, but can be worth a significant amount of money.
For example, you can sign up for a free trial of Blockbuster Online and get $7.00 from QuickRewards. You'd just click that offer, and fill out the form, giving your debit/credit card info to Blockbuster. IMPORTANT! You will get a 30 day trial to blockbuster, and can get some DVDs sent to your home to watch. However, make sure to cancel after about 25 days, UNLESS you really want this service - otherwise you will be billed a fair amount of money for the service - you will now be a member of that service. But there are many offers which give you a free trial, usually from between 3 days or 30 days, depending on the offer.
However, I don't recommend doing this just yet until I post the tables with the offers. The other sites that you can sign up for sometimes have the same MetaReward offers, but pay better money. In future posts, I'll show you which ones pay the most, so you can maximize your cash for each one.
5. Trivia - Get paid $0.01 (maybe) every day there is a new trivia question. You can usually find the answer if you are proficient with Google. If not, take a guess. If you get it right, you aren't guaranteed $0.01 - only half of the people who get it right get that $0.01. But it's a fun thing to do, and you will get paid half the time you are right. :)
6. Paid to Shop - if you are shopping online, you might as well get a commission for it! For example, if you bid on Ebay, you can get 2% of what you bid from QuickRewards. In this instance, you would need to first click on "EBAY REWARDS" under the "Easy Cash" tab on the right. Then click the link that says "EBAY BID/BINS (Buy it Now)". Then click on the "EBAY" link. Now you can log in to Ebay, search for items, find something you like, and either use Buy It Now, or bid on the item. NOTE: You must go through this process every time in case you are outbid and have to rebid in order to get credit.
For other offers, just click on the "Shopping" tab on the right hand side, and the process is similar. Click on the letter corresponding to the first letter of the merchant you are interested in, and it will show you what % you can make. For example, you can get 2.1% cash back on Circuit City, or 1.1% on Best Buy. Be sure to read the comments on each merchant. For example, with Best Buy, it says you cannot get a commission on items that require in store pickup. In that case, you could only make cash back if you shipped your order to yourself.
Of course, when you have build up your balance, and want to cash out, simply click on the "[Cashout]" link. I usually type in what I want and hit Submit; for example I type "$1.07 Paypal" if I want a Paypal payment.
Well, that covers QuickRewards for now. I'll be posting more information later on comparing all the MetaRewards offers that are out there, comparing them site by site.
